Superman vs. The Elite

"World saved. Humanity lost."

Superman vs the Elite is an 2012 action/comedy cartoon about Superman's never ending struggle against evil. This movie was a direct to film release and features George Newburn as the voice of Superman. The movie begins with an public outcry of the world for peace and the destruction of evil. While watching the broadcast a man by the name of Manchester, comes up with a plot to give the world exactly what they want. In Metropolis Superman has just defeated the Atomic Skull after witnessing the death of some innocent bystanders. Superman must then attend a conference at the United Nations to speak about the growing threat of violence and death in the world.

As Superman arrives at the conference he is horrified to see that two countries(Bialyia and Pokolistan) are in the midst of an heated war. With no other option left the Bialyian forces decide to drop a bio-weapon on the ground forces of Pokolistan. Superman intervenes and saves the ground soldiers with the help of the Elite. Manchester has assembled his own group of superheroes to combat the growing threat of evil on earth. Superman seems suspicious of Manchester's motives so he goes to London to seek out more information on the Elite.

In London Superman's strength is put to the test by a bomber who seeks to destroy a group of innocent bystanders. The Elite intervene again and almost kill the bomber while interrogating him, Superman man stops them, but is thoroughly convinced that the Elite are up to no good. After digging into Manchester's background he finds out about how he got his powers and what he plans on using them for. Returning to Metropolis Superman overhears a broadcast of the Elite explaining to the citizens of the world that they will stop evil, by killing all wrong doers. This upsets Superman and causes him to seek out the Elite and stop them before they do more harm.
