This slightly controversial Disney movie focuses on the life of Max Devlin, a landlord in New York who has few feelings or cares for his fellow man. Pursuing an errant tenant Max is struck by a bus and killed, after making his way to Hell he is told by Barney Satin that he has one last chance to return to Earth and save his soul. Max agrees to return to Earth and try to persuade three young people to sign over their souls to the devil in exchange for his own.
