Yeh Cool-son has been away for a long time, but he returns to the palace of the emperor to fight in a duel to the death with Snow, known as a recluse. Dragon 9 is the leader of the guard, begins to see odd things occurring in the palace, and is convinced he must further investigate. He finds, among other things, that there are murders occurring on the property and all of the evidence is pointed towards Dragon 9. Snow does not believe that Dragon 9 would take part in such a thing and he may not be able to prove it before the duel on New Year’s Eve.
