A lawyer is visiting a town in Utah with a woman friend, but finds her murdered soon after their arrival. The police department is called in to investigate and the sheriff does not discount anyone from being on his suspect list. That includes the lodge owner who happens to despise women. He is also a quadriplegic and it is hard to imagine how he could have committed such a murder. As the investigation continues, each person on the suspect list becomes paranoid and make themselves look more and more guilty. Everyone is shocked when they find out another woman has been murdered.
