The Grand Seduction is a 2014 film about a small town who find themselves in some financial trouble until one day a wealthy and highly respected doctor makes his way to their town for some time off. The people in the town want the doctor to have the best experience while he stays in their town because they think if the doctor lives in their town for a long period of time then he will be able to provide the townsfolk with more potential job opportunities and perhaps get their town's economy back to normal.

The doctor finds himself having the best of luck when he stumbles upon a five dollar bill on the ground which was cleverly placed there by one of the townsfolk in order to seduce the doctor into staying at the town longer than his original plan. The town also hopes the doctor will fall in love with one of the lovely women from the town.
