He tries to give her courage and she helps him try to walk and attend the Screen Writers Guild awards. Amanda continues to see Graham and meets his daughters and finds he is a widow. Iris and Miles become friends. He finds his young girlfriend is cheating on him so he gets to know Amanda better. Both women find romance and live in their new locations with men that didn't work for the other. This is a romantic comedy of mismatched love connections.
