Watch Music and Lyrics

"Music and Lyrics" is a 2007 film starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. Grant plays Alex Fletcher, a formerly famous singer who has been living in the excesses of his fame and is slowly losing gigs and money. He receives an opportunity to write a song for a popular teen idol, but unfortunately, he has never been a song writer and is completely uninspired to write lyrics to the music he has composed. Just as he thought he would be stuck without lyrics forever, he meets Sophie Fisher, played by Drew Barrymore. Fisher is a quirky young girl who writes poetry and would be a perfect lyricist for Fletcher's composition, if only he can convince her to do it. A back and forth ensues, along with the quest to write the perfect lyrics that fit both him and his music.
