Watch The Kitten from the Lizukov Street

It is a quirky Soviet era cartoon comedy, in the Russian language. A kitten is somehow turned into an African hippopotamus. He learns to adapt to life in Africa. However, even though he now lives as a large aquatic animal, he still thinks of himself as a house cat. Unlike the vegetarian hippos, he hunts mice, bathes himself with his tongue, and meows. It is funny to see a hippo behaving as if it is a cat. It is also heartwarming that he misses his beloved home, Lizyukova street, in the Russian city of Voronezh.
