The LXD, or The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, is a web series turned movie that tells the story of a group of dancers with extraordinary abilities who band together to fight for justice against those who misuse their gifts. Released in 2011, this third season features Luis "Luigi" Rosado and Christopher Scott, both of whom have been a part of the LXD since its inception.

The movie opens with a bang, as the LXD faces off against the Uprising, a group of dancers who use their powers to dominate and control others. The LXD defeats them in a high-energy dance battle, but the Uprising's leader, the Shadow, escapes. Meanwhile, a new member, Anton (played by Glee's Harry Shum Jr.), joins the LXD, bringing with him a dark past and a mysterious power that could be the key to defeating the Shadow once and for all.

As the LXD continues to battle the Uprising, they must also confront their own inner demons, including jealousy, fear, and doubt. Ra (Luigi Rosado), the LXD's leader, struggles with his own feelings of inadequacy, while members Jato (Chadd Smith) and Spex (Christopher Scott) face their own personal challenges. The movie also takes a deeper dive into the backstory of characters like Gizmo (Jason Glover) and his troubled relationship with his father.

Throughout the movie, the dance sequences are breathtaking and serve as a powerful storytelling tool. From acrobatic flips and spins to fluid contemporary movements, the dancers' skills are on full display. Each dance sequence is distinct, showcasing the unique talents of the individual dancers while also advancing the plot in a meaningful way.

One of the standout moments in the movie is a group dance battle set to "Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division. It's a hauntingly beautiful sequence that explores the themes of love and loss, and it's a testament to the power of dance to evoke emotion.

The production values of the movie are impressive, with stunning visuals and a cohesive narrative that ties everything together. The movie also features a few notable guest stars, including singer/actress Christina Milian and actor John Hensley.

Overall, The LXD: Season 3 is a satisfying conclusion to the series. It's an epic story of good versus evil, of love and loss, and of the power of dance to unite and inspire. The talent of the dancers and the creative vision of the filmmakers make for a truly memorable movie experience.
