The Phantom Lover follows a bankrupt troupe of actors who begin performing in a burnt out theater. The performers become frightened when they learn that a famous entertainer died on the stage where they are now acting. While searching for answers to the strange murder, one member of the troupe begins having frightening visions. Eventually the young actor has to determine whether these visions are real, and whether they may lead him to the same fate as the actor who mysteriously died in the theater where he now performs.
