Watch Okinawa Rendez-vous
This movie is full of humor and watchable. The logic in the narrative comes out as a loose structure, but just like the purpose of the movie, it makes the audience relax. The holiday mood is adorable especially with Leslie Cheung’s performance, as the movie challenges rather than reinforcing the social values in Hong Kong. The self-indulgence makes the characters escape responsibility, and the killer’s attitude brings to life Sartrei’s bad faith. A properly conveyed positive message happens to be with the dumb-boy. He leaves the past and engages in the present to affect the future.
