Based on the William Faulkner novel about thieves, The Reivers focuses on Boon Hoggenbeck's affinity for a Winton Flyer automobile that is owned by a man named Boss. Boon can't help himself from stealing the car for a joyride. When he's arrested for the theft, Boss agrees to pay his bond, providing he can stay out of trouble. But it doesn't take long for Boon to break his promise, borrowing the car again so he can travel to Memphis to visit his girlfriend.
