The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause

"His time at the North Pole is about to go South."

This comedy is the third film in the franchise starring Tim Allen. In the first film, Allen plays an ordinary man who is roped into, via legal technicality, taking on the role of Santa Claus. In this third film, Allen has been Santa Claus for some time, and now Jack Frost, played by Martin Short, is plotting to overthrow the jolly old elf. Frost's plans involves the Escape Clause, a loophole that will dismiss Allen from the Santa job if he inadvertently recites a particular oath. The film opened to primarily negative reviews in 2006 and filed to match the financial success of the first two films.
