The Santa Clause
- 1 hr 37 min
Beware of the Clause! Not the Claus. Don't be as confused as Scott Calvin. While he was trying to mend his relationship with his son, he went a bit too far. He knocks Santa off the roof and then puts his Santa suit on only to find there was a clause (all by accident of course). Apparently, you wear the suit, you ARE the big guy. Little by little and day by day, Scott Calvin turns into the real Santa. This of course mends his relationship with his son but makes Scott appear to be going crazy to others. Tim Allen is Scott Calvin...who is Santa Claus. A very creative way to see the holidays, beautiful set decorations, outstanding musical sound tracks and some pretty fine elves. The makeup and effects are absolutely perfect! Tim Allen looks like the most charming Santa Claus you could ever hope to see. It's a family oriented movie, mostly humorous with a lot of elves with attitude. Extremely witty comments are pulled off by a cast that is very qualified. You will be immersed in the Christmas Spirit, laughing all the way. You are cautioned not to try any of these things at home. But who would try to squeeze down a chimney in their pajamas, or fly off of the roof unless you actually had an elf in hand anyway? You breathtakingly wait to see if the courts take away Scott Calvin's son, because, well because Scott thinks he is Santa Claus. You do get to see the real North Pole, and Barnabas, Barabus, oh yeah...it's BERNARD! Bernard is the head elf himself and he is proud to say so in an extremely sarcastic way. The movie pulls you into each moment and gets you into the Christmas Spirit. It's a work of art and will be enjoyed by every member of the family for many years to come.
