The Witches of Eastwick

Witches of Eastwick is a very entertaining movie for all ages. This movie is based on three women one being a sculpture (Cher) who is lonely in her big house in the country but in need for something different, then there is a newspaper reporter going nowhere in her job this is Sukie, (Michelle Pfeiffer) in her position as a reporter she wants more but it is never reachable, in such a small town she is invisible next is Jane (Susan Sarandon) she is a music teacher and all she does is fantasize about a more fast paced life. Every week on Thursday these three ladies get together to drink their Martinis and tell each other what they want out of their lives, but of course the most important is all of their love lives. They not only want exciting lives they are willing to sacrifice everything for them to all find the perfect man for each of them. This particular night as they are describing out loud what they want in their perfect man, little do they realize that a man made of Satan's loin is being crated and will be there in the small town of Eastwick to make each of the woman's dreams come true. Entering the picture is Daryl Van Horne, this is of course Satan in disguise he comes from no where, everyone is a little curious as he buys the most expensive property in Eastwick so all of its residents know he is just filthy rich. He one by one seduces all of the women, they settle their difference and he basically puts them in a trance which then they are all madly in love with the same man. They do not seem to realize the weird going ons in that small town, if anyone gets too close to the truth Daryl stops them in their tracks and makes sure the pay. At this point of the movie the ladies realize that this is not right. But they all plot revenge and make a promise to rid their lives of Daryl. They must pay a price but they do what they need to do for the sake of their future.
