The Wrecking Crew is a U.S. crime drama that was written by Hannah Blue. Directed by Albert Pyun, the film was produced by Paul Rosenblum, Tom Karnowski, Ice-T and Mark Allen for Filmwerks. Featured in the cast are actors and rappers Ice-T and Snoop Dog along with Ernie Hudson Jr. and T.J. Storm. The story follows a rapper and powerful drug lord named Dra-man (played by Snoop Dog) with a great deal of street credibility, which he uses to run the urban streets of an unnamed city (the film was shot in Eastern Europe and Czechoslovakia). Two rival street gangs who have always been at each others' throats are finally willing to smoke the peace pipe. The reason is that covert government forces have begun to close in, making it more difficult for them to attend to business. Menace (played by Ice-T) leads the Wrecking Crew - a police force project specializing in gang warfare sponsored by the government. They use very obvious and life-threatening tactics to try to tame the street thugs. The hope is that word will get out that there is zero tolerance so that they cease harming citizens and committing crimes. In light of the recent police force presence that has been growing - the two gangs - 111 and the Locs decide that they want to join up with a group called the Cartel so they can become stronger and tougher. Led by Hakiem (played by Ernie Hudson, Jr.), Josef (played by T.J. Storm) and Sly (played by David Askew), they attempt to work together in order to maintain the turfs they have worked so hard to create. Eventually, all three gangs emerge as the only gun free gangstas. However, the Wrecking Crew starts to kill them off, one by one, in an effort to murder each person in both gangs. Because they believe that it is the other gang that is murdering their members, they turn on each other and a bloody battle ensues.
