Top Secret! is a comedy film that first came out in 1984. The film involves an American pop star who travels to East Germany in order to perform. The singer ends up joining the prestigious East German French Resistance, and works with a beautiful young woman to rescue her mad scientist father who is being forced by the East Germans to build dangerous sea mines. Top Secret! features a huge amount of slapstick humor and physical comedy.

Top Secret! is a parody movie that draws inspiration from a number of Cold War era spy films and also mimics Elvis Presley’s musical films from the 1970s. Top Secret! was written and directed by Jim Abraham, David Zucker, and Jerry Zucker. It was also co-written with the help of Martyn Burke. This group of people were the same persons who made the movie Airplane!. Top Secret! features Val Kilmer in his first feature film role, and also has performances by Omar Sharif and Jeremy Kemp.
