Venkat and Sailaja are two young people that keep meeting each other coincidentally when it rains. One day, on a train, while it is raining they begin to fall in love with each other. In the same instance these two fall in love, another young man begins to be infatuated with Sailaja. Bhadranna is a wealthy young man, and approaches Sailaja's father. Her father agrees to marry her off for money. As time goes by, the love Venkat has for Sailaja never fades. Now it is up to Venkat to win the approval of Sailaja's father.
