Veer is an epic action-drama film that was released in 2010. Directed by Anil Sharma, this movie stars Salman Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff, and Zarine Khan. The story follows the life of a brave warrior named Veer, who belongs to a clan of Rajputs in Rajasthan. Veer is born in the mid-19th century, during the British Raj. His father, Prithvi Singh, is the chief of their village, while his mother died during childbirth. Prithvi Singh trains his son to be a warrior from a very young age, and Veer grows up to be a skilled fighter. He shares a special bond with his stepbrother, Punya (played by Sohail Khan), who is a mute and communicates only through gestures.

As the British start to expand their territories in India, they come into conflict with the Rajputs. The British General, James McKensie (played by Tim James), sees the Rajputs as a threat and plots to eliminate them. In one such attack, McKensie kills Prithvi Singh in front of Veer's eyes. This event forces Veer and his clan to go into hiding in the desert, where they continue to resist the British.

Veer then meets Princess Yashodhara (Zarine Khan), who is the daughter of King Gyanendra Singh (Mithun Chakraborty) of Madhavgarh. Veer and Yashodhara fall in love, but their relationship is met with opposition from both sides. Veer decides to seek King Gyanendra's approval for their marriage, and he along with his friends Gajendra (Jackie Shroff) and Zaheer (Sohail Khan) travel to Madhavgarh.

King Gyanendra is a wise and just ruler, who is respected by his people. However, his younger brother, Prithvi Singh II (Aryan Vaid), is power-hungry and jealous of his brother's position. Prithvi Singh II, along with McKensie, plots to overthrow King Gyanendra and capture his kingdom. Veer and his friends get caught up in this political turmoil, and they find themselves embroiled in a battle for justice and freedom.

Veer's journey takes him through battles, betrayals, and sacrifices. He learns invaluable lessons about loyalty, love, and bravery. The movie portrays the struggles of the Indian people during the British Raj, and the sacrifices made by those who fought for independence.

The movie features stunning visuals, with elaborate sets and costumes that transport the audience to the 19th century. The action sequences are choreographed brilliantly, with Salman Khan performing many of his stunts himself. The movie also boasts an impressive soundtrack, composed by Sajid-Wajid.

Overall, Veer is a compelling movie that combines the elements of action, drama, romance, and patriotism. The movie presents a story of courage and resilience that is sure to inspire anyone who watches it. Salman Khan shines in his role as the valiant warrior, while Mithun Chakraborty and Jackie Shroff add depth to their characters.
