Brian and Paulie have been best friends since they were kids, even participating in the world of organized crime together. As they have gotten older, the streets are taking more of a toll on Brian's life as he struggles with addiction and his relationship with Paulie starts to deteriorate. As tensions rise, this actually creates a turf between the two men. However, detective Moran is determined to put a stop to their crimes. Each man tries to avoid the law while in the midst of a bitter battle. What Doesn't Kill You tells the story of two men who have their lives embedded in the underworld.
