The movie White Lion follows the Shangaan legend that states these lions were sent to tell the messages of God. A young man named Gisani finds the lion in his African valley and makes a vow to protect the animal. He called the lion Letsatsi. Letasti befriends another lion and learns how to survive in the wild. Gisani takes a job working for a hunter to make sure the lions are safe. The hunter has spotted the white lion and wants to have it for a trophy. While escaping the hunter the lion that befriended Letasti is killed. Letasti and Gisani work together to find a way to escape the hunter so they can both live happily.

White Lion is a 2010 drama with a runtime of 1 hour and 28 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.5.
