The television show "Air Aces" is a riveting and historical show that documents military aircraft heroes through one-hour segments of some of the most amazing airborne missions in history from the First World War through the Vietnam conflict. This show depicts actual aircraft from the First World War onward and re-creates through computer graphics detailed "dog-fights" and strafing runs where certain historical true "air aces" such as Eddie Rickenbacker(American), George Beurling(Canadian) Douglas Bader (Britain), Robin Olds (American) and Gabby Gabreski (American) are featured and literally come to life.

The show depicts American P-47's, American P-51's, British Spitfires, and Phantom fighters honoring some of the world's most famous "air aces" from Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Also featured in a segment is the famous American P-51 squadron from the Second World War known as the "Red Tails," an African American fighter squadron based in Europe also known as the "Tuskegee Airmen" who trained in Tuskegee, Alabama during the Second World War and who were assigned to the 332nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group in Europe.
