Rising high school football player Spencer James has always been conflicted about his place on the team and in the world. But when a stunning tragedy shakes up his life, Spencer's talent and skills suddenly make him a hot commodity in LA. Blessed with an opportunity to attend Beverly Hills High School, Spencer must navigate his way through the treacherous waters of two distinct worlds if he hopes to make it out alive - all the while staying true to himself. When Spencer is asked to stay in Beverly Hills and leave Crenshaw, Billy, the school's head football coach, asks him to help coach his team. Combined with a new reception, Coach Billy Baker, Spencer’s high school coach, takes notice of him and offers him a spot on his team. Excited to win the championship for him and the school, things start to spiral out of control as a series of unfortunate events occur. Meanwhile, Spencer's mother is worried about him moving into Beverly Hills as two different worlds collide. Spencer must juggle both school and football while also trying to survive in the ruthless and cutthroat world of Beverly Hills - all while keeping his integrity intact. But with the stakes so high, can Spencer rise to the challenge?
