Kaori, who is a member of a secret organization called City Hunter, wakes up with Glass Heart's heart beating inside of her. She is haunted by the memories and emotions of Glass Heart and begins to question her own identity. Kaori decides to leave City Hunter and travel to China in search of Xiang Ying's family to try and find out more about the girl whose heart is now a part of her.

Along the way, Kaori meets a young boy named Li Shenshun, who is searching for his missing sister. Li Shenshun is a talented martial artist and becomes Kaori's ally and friend. Together, they embark on a journey to uncover the truth about Xiang Ying's past and their own identities.

The show has a mix of action, drama, and romance. The fight scenes in the series are well choreographed and visually pleasing. The drama comes from the conflicting emotions that Kaori experiences as she tries to come to terms with the fact that she now has a piece of Glass Heart inside of her. The romance angle comes from the relationship that develops between Kaori and Li Shenshun as they travel together.
