Aquarium was a Japanese drama series that aired in 2019. It followed the lives of five women who all worked at the same aquarium. The show was produced by TV Tokyo and ran for 10 episodes. The main character of the show was Kurosawa Yuka, played by Nao Minamisawa. Yuka is a 29-year-old woman who works as a trainer at the aquarium. She is passionate about her job and loves working with the dolphins. Yuka is also dealing with personal issues as she tries to come to terms with her father's death and her strained relationship with her mother.

Yuka's coworkers at the aquarium include Kaji Ayumi, played by Shiori Yoshida. Ayumi is a 26-year-old woman who works in the education department. She is bubbly and outgoing, but she is also dealing with her own personal issues as she tries to figure out what she wants to do with her life.

Another of Yuka's coworkers is Kawabuchi Kaede, played by Haruka Fukuhara. Kaede is a 21-year-old woman who works in the marine biology department. She is very intelligent and serious about her work, but she often comes across as cold and unapproachable to her coworkers.

The fourth member of the aquarium team is Sakamoto Mako, played by Mayuu Yokota. Mako is a 22-year-old woman who works in the dolphin department with Yuka. She is very shy and introverted, but she is also incredibly talented when it comes to working with the dolphins.

The final member of the team is the aquarium's director, Tanaka Kenichiro, played by Masaki Nakao. Tanaka is a middle-aged man who is passionate about the aquarium and its mission. He is constantly coming up with new ideas for exhibits and events, but he often clashes with the younger members of his team.

Throughout the course of the show, the characters deal with a variety of personal and professional challenges. Yuka struggles with her grief over her father's death, her strained relationship with her mother, and her growing feelings for her coworker, Mako. Ayumi tries to figure out what she wants to do with her life and begins dating a coworker from another department. Kaede has to confront her own issues with her father and learns to open up to her coworkers. Mako becomes more confident and assertive in her work, and her friendship with Yuka begins to deepen. And Tanaka has to deal with funding issues and pressure from the higher-ups to make the aquarium more profitable.

The show is beautifully shot, with many scenes taking place inside the aquarium or on the beach nearby. The underwater scenes with the dolphins are particularly stunning, and the show does a great job of conveying the wonder and magic of being up close to these amazing creatures.

Overall, Aquarium is a touching and uplifting drama that explores the joys and challenges of working in a unique and special environment. The characters are well-drawn and complex, and the show does a great job of exploring their personal journeys while also highlighting the importance of the aquarium's mission to educate and inspire the public.
