Bake It Like Buddy is a baking competition show that premiered in 2018 on Discovery Family. The show features renowned pastry chef and cake artist Buddy Valastro, famously known as the Cake Boss - the founder of Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey. The concept of the show revolves around amateur bakers competing for the title of baking champion by recreating Buddy's stunning and elaborate cakes and desserts as closely as possible.

The show features a format somewhat similar to other popular cooking competitions like Top Chef or MasterChef. In each episode, four contestants from different parts of the country compete against each other in two rounds of challenges. The contestants are initially given a recipe for a cake or dessert created by Buddy, which they have to bake from scratch. The contestants are judged on how closely they are able to replicate Buddy
