Welcome to Sweetie Pie's is a wonderful TV show based in St Louis. Starring owner- operator Robbie Montgomery, formally a background singer for Ike and Tina Turner. After her lungs collapsed, she decided to engulf herself into her other passion which was cooking. Miss Robbie took her families soul food recipes and opened Sweetie pie's. The main staff is made up of her son Tim, his fiance' Janae and nephew Lil Charles. Showing the interactions of family working together has made them one of the most talked about shows on TV. The community loves them and adds a special warmth that can be seen in every episode.

Miss Robbie also opened another restaurant called the upper crust, which offers fine dining and the family is right there with her. We see all the inner working of what it takes to open a new restaurant and the stress that comes with it. The comradery of this family is heart warming and makes you want to come back for more. There arguments are comical, but never hurtful and makes for very funny moments. They all have the same common goal which, is to help Miss Robbie run the best restaurants she can. Every week there is different issues from the health of Miss Robbie to who is going to the new restaurant. Miss Robbie puts everyone in their place with old fashion tough love.

Welcome to Sweetie Pie's is an addicting TV show that keeps you coming back for more. The food looks outstanding, making your mouth water for real soul food. You can literally see the love that goes into the food preparation and severing of customers. Like any other family there are good times and bad times but, the love they have for each other gets them through.
