Beating Again (also known as Falling in Love with Soon-jung) is a South Korean romantic drama series that follows the story of a man who has tragically lost the love of his life and has been in a deep depression for years. He confronts her and finds out that her name is Young-hee (played by Park Han-byul) and that she has been acting as if she is his dead girlfriend to get money from him. Joon-hee is furious and hurt that someone would try to take advantage of his grief in such a way.
As Joon-hee tries to deal with his anger and disappointment, Young-hee begins to explain her side of the story. She reveals that she was also in a deep depression after losing the love of her life and that Joon-hee reminded her of him. She never intended to hurt him but instead wanted to help him heal from his pain.
Joon-hee is torn between his anger towards Young-hee and his compassion for her situation. He begins to realize that he may have been projecting his own unresolved feelings onto her and that he needs to face his grief and guilt head on.
At the same time, Ji-soo's event planning hits a snag, and she ends up leaning on Joon-hee for support. They begin to grow closer, and Joon-hee finds himself opening up about his past and his struggles to move on.
The episode ends with Joon-hee and Young-hee coming to a tentative understanding, and Joon-hee realizing that he may have found someone who can help him heal and move forward.
