Benjamin and Otto want to take part in the Newtown regatta. They repair the "Santa Carla", the old sailing boat belonging to Carla Caramba's great-grandfather, Christopher Caramba, and line up at the start with her. The other participants are amused. But not for long. Benjamin and Otto quickly take the lead. Suddenly they discover an anxious mother whale: her baby is stuck on an island. Benjamin and Otto help the baby whale whilst the other participants in the regatta keep sailing.
