It is day 76 inside the Big Brother house for season 20 and the remaining houseguests are starting to feel the pressure as the finale approaches. The episode opens with a recap of the previous week's events - including the eviction of fan favorite, Brett, and the Head of Household win by Kaycee.

As the episode progresses, the houseguests are shown strategizing and plotting their next moves. Level 6, the dominant alliance in the house, seems to be cracking under the pressure as they struggle to trust each other with the endgame in sight. Tyler, the puppet master of the group, is seen separately speaking with each alliance member and pushing them to vote out their remaining competition - one of which happens to be his closest ally, Angela.

The Power of Veto competition takes place, with Kaycee and Sam joining the HoH and nominee, Haleigh, to play. The challenge involves each houseguest balancing on a surfboard while holding a ball on a disk. The last person standing will win the Veto. Ultimately, Kaycee wins the competition, solidifying her power in the game.

Back in the house, a tense conversation takes place between Haleigh and Kaycee. Haleigh tries to plead her case to stay in the house, but Kaycee is resolute in her decision to send Haleigh home. Haleigh is left feeling defeated and frustrated, as her time in the game seems to be dwindling down.

As eviction night approaches, the houseguests are shown getting ready for the live eviction. Tyler is seen making rounds with the other houseguests, reiterating that it is in their best interest to vote out Haleigh. Meanwhile, Haleigh is seen campaigning to stay in the game, but it seems like her efforts will not be enough.

The episode culminates with the live eviction ceremony, hosted by Julie Chen Moonves. Kaycee ultimately decides to follow through with her plan and evict Haleigh from the house. Haleigh hugs her fellow houseguests goodbye before making her way to the door. In her exit interview, Haleigh reveals that she plans to continue rooting for her allies from the outside and that she is grateful for her experience in the Big Brother house.

Overall, episode 27 is a tense and emotional installment in the season 20 saga. The houseguests are starting to feel the weight of the game on their shoulders, and the stakes are higher than ever before. As the finale approaches, it remains to be seen who will come out on top and be crowned the winner of Big Brother season 20.
