In season 2, episode 7 of Big Love, titled "Good Guys and Bad Guys," the Henrickson family is dealing with the fallout from Bill's announcement about his intention to run for office as a polygamist. Barb, Nicki, and Margene are all worried about the attention that Bill's campaign might bring to their family, especially since they are still technically breaking the law by practicing polygamy.

Meanwhile, Bill has his own problems to deal with. After his father's death, Bill inherits a casino and decides to expand his business interests by building a hotel and convention center. However, Bill soon learns that there are people who are opposed to his plans, including a rival casino owner named Jerry Flute and a group of environmental activists who are worried about the impact that the hotel and convention center will have on the local ecosystem.

As Bill tries to navigate the complex world of politics and business, he finds himself increasingly drawn to his new attorney and campaign manager, Marilyn Densham. Although Bill is still very much in love with his three wives, he can't help but feel attracted to Marilyn, who is smart, ambitious, and unafraid to challenge him.

At the same time, Barb is struggling with her own feelings of jealousy and insecurity. Despite her deep love for Bill, she can't help but feel hurt and betrayed by his interest in Marilyn. To make matters worse, Barb is dealing with her own health issues, including a lump in her breast that she fears may be cancer.

Nicki, for her part, is trying to maintain a sense of control over her own life. As she deals with her troubled relationship with her daughter Cara Lynn and her ongoing battle with her mother, Adaleen, Nicki is also trying to figure out what her role will be in Bill's political campaign. Although she is a skilled public speaker and strategist, Nicki is worried that her past as a child bride and her current struggles with mental illness will hurt Bill's chances of winning.

Margene, meanwhile, is trying to find her place in the family and in the world. Although she is happy and fulfilled as Bill's third wife, Margene is eager to explore new opportunities and find a sense of meaning and purpose outside of her role as a wife and mother. With the help of her friend and mentor, Pam, Margene starts to explore her own identity and ambition, even as she tries to support Bill in his political aspirations.

Overall, "Good Guys and Bad Guys" is a complex and emotionally charged episode that explores the many challenges and conflicts facing the Henrickson family. From political intrigue to personal betrayals, the episode examines the various forces that can tear a family apart or bring them closer together, and asks important questions about morality, loyalty, and power in modern American society. Whether you're a fan of the show or new to the world of Big Love, this episode is a must-watch for anyone interested in exploring the complexities of relationships and family dynamics.
