Ep 12. I Need Your Vision

In the twelfth episode of Billion Dollar Buyer season 2, titled "I Need Your Vision," the show's host Tilman Fertitta continues his mission to find promising businesses to add to his ever-expanding empire. In this episode, Tilman heads to New Orleans, where he meets with two local businesses operating in vastly different industries.

First up is Urban South Brewery, a local craft brewery owned by Jacob Landry and his father-in-law. Tilman is impressed by the brewery's wide variety of unique beers, including a special brew made with Louisiana strawberries. However, he is concerned about the company's distribution methods and pushes Jacob and his father-in-law to think outside the box and find new ways to get their beer in the hands of more customers.

Next, Tilman meets with Carmen Marston, the owner of Vision Woodworks, a custom woodworking company. Carmen shows Tilman some of her stunning pieces, including an intricate chess table and a massive live-edge conference table. Tilman is impressed with her craftsmanship and eye for detail but finds her prices to be too high. He challenges Carmen to lower her prices and focus on marketing her business more aggressively.

Back at Tilman's headquarters, he presents each business with an offer. For Urban South Brewery, Tilman offers to invest $500,000 for a 25% stake in the company, but he wants to see proof that they can expand their distribution beyond the New Orleans area. For Vision Woodworks, Tilman offers to invest $750,000 for a 50% stake in the company, but only if Carmen can lower her prices and increase her marketing efforts.

The rest of the episode follows each business as they work to meet Tilman's demands. Jacob and his father-in-law try to find new distribution channels for their beer while working on a special project for Tilman's hotels. Meanwhile, Carmen brings in a business consultant to help her re-evaluate her pricing strategy and comes up with a new marketing campaign to showcase her work.

The episode concludes with Tilman re-evaluating each business and deciding whether or not to move forward with his investment offers. Viewers will have to tune in to see which businesses made the cut and which were left behind.
