Ep 2. Fish and the Con Man

Vic offers Fish a pill that will help him cope through the withdrawal symptoms, but Fish is hesitant to take it. Vic tries to persuade Fish by manipulating him emotionally, telling him that Jesus would be proud of him if he gets clean.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang is trying to raise money for the rent. They come up with various ideas, including selling old shoes and clothes. But all their efforts prove to be futile, and they still need more money to pay the rent. Just as they are about to give up hope, they receive a surprise visitor who gives them a huge sum of money, more than the amount they needed for the rent. They later find out that the money was given by the same con man, Vic, who is using the money he earned from selling drugs to the gang.

Jesus begins to realize that something is not right with Vic, and he confronts him. Vic, being the con man that he is, tries to manipulate Jesus as well by telling him that he does what he does to help people, unlike Jesus, who only talks but doesn't take action. Jesus, realizing that he was being played, decides to take matters into his own hands and confront Vic.

In the end, Jesus manages to see through Vic's lies and deceit and saves Fish from his grasp. The episode ends on a hopeful note as Fish finally begins to accept Jesus' help and decides to try and get clean for real this time.
