Ep 12. The Book of Secrets: Chapter Two: Just and Unjust

Jefferson Pierce, also known as the superhero Black Lightning, is still investigating the mysterious death of his father, Alvin Pierce. Jefferson learns from his ex-girlfriend, Sarah, that Alvin had information about a secret group of corrupt individuals known as the "A.S.A." who have been conducting illegal experiments on metahumans.

Meanwhile, Jefferson's daughters, Anissa and Jennifer, continue to struggle with their own powers and the responsibilities that come with them. Anissa, as the superhero known as Thunder, is focused on protecting a group of metahuman teenagers from the A.S.A., while Jennifer, as Lightning, is discovering the full extent of her powers and the danger they pose.

As the Pierce family works to uncover the truth about the A.S.A., they face new challenges and threats. A new villain, known as Painkiller, emerges with deadly fighting skills and a connection to a traumatic event from Jefferson's past. Additionally, the A.S.A. discovers the existence of the Pierce family's powers, putting them in even greater danger.
