Bonnie Bear is an educational show for young children. Together with her best friend, Mr. Gramophone, Bonnie Bear creates adventures with music and sounds. Children can engage with the characters as they play the Listening Game. Mr. Gramophone plays sounds, and Bonnie Bear tries to guess what sound it is.

Bonnie’s ear wiggles when the sound reaches it. Once she identifies the sound, she uses her magical paintbrush to paint an image of what makes the sounds. Once she gets three sounds correct, she paints a colorful scene based on the sounds she has heard.

The show helps children use their imagination to develop critical skills including seeing and hearing. Children learn how to associate sounds to objects or certain events, enhance their sense of hearing, develop awareness to the variety of sound all around them, identify voices and label items.

Parents can also interact with their children while watching the show. By encouraging them to guess what sounds Mr. Gramophone selects, parents can reinforce children’s ability to focus on individual sounds. The Listening Game that Bonnie Bear and Mr. Gramophone play can also be performed around the house and outdoors to continue sharpening children’s listening skills.
