"Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures" is a teen sitcom that debuted on the Nickelodeon cable station in July 2011. The main characters of the series are two California teenage boys named Bucket and Skinner, who are best friends. Both Bucket and Skinner share a love of surfing. Both are freshman in high school in the fictional town of Pacific Bluffs. Skinner is adventurous and highly imaginative, and often gets the pair into difficult situations. In addition to being a decent surfer, he is also a skilled ventriloquist with a photographic memory. Bucket is more grounded and has a huge crush on an expert surfer named Kelly. Bucket's arch-rival, a rich popular kid nicknamed Aloe, is also interested in Kelly. Aloe dislikes both Bucket and Skinner. Bucket has an uncle called "Three Pieces" who owns a surf shop. Three Pieces is himself a former surfing champion and gets along well with all of Bucket's friends. He often provides adult advice and guidance to all of the series character, but particularly to his nephew. Bucket and Skinner get in various situations throughout the series. One episode involved the two dealing with a bully, another was about the pratfalls of babysitting, and yet another one was when the pair had to take care of a seal. Taylor Gray plays Bucket on the show. Dillon Lane plays Skinner. Both actors were in their teens themselves when this series debuted, as was Ashley Argota who plays Kelly. "Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures" is produced by Thomas W. Lynch and is filmed at Sunset Bronson Studios in Los Angeles. Every episode of "Bucket & Skinner" is opened by a song written by Nick Pierone called "No Worries" sung by the two title characters. The series has been aired by Nickelodeon in Canada, Europe, and much of South America. The series has 26 half hour episodes, and can now be found on TeenNick.
