The motion comic of Buffy the Vampire Slayer takes place one year later with Buffy and Xander taking control of Command-central in Scotland. They have a diverse team of slayers, witches, psychics and seers, ready to help them take down the bad guys. In this series, Buffy heavily relies on the abilities of her friend Willow, who has the ability to cast complex and large-scale spells against her enemies, which makes her the main focal point of the show. After the destruction of Sunnydale, the U.S government has now branded the Slayers with the title of international terrorists and a danger to the country. The government has decided to take Buffy and her team down with the help of the sole survivor of Sunnydale and witch, Amy Madision. As the series progresses, a clumsy and ditzy vampire named Harmony brings in a new world of pro-vampire, anti-Slayer supporters. Buffy and her group is forces to retreat retaliating against the evil forces, since Twilight has the upper hand and can now track the location of the group by using their magical abilites to capture them. With no choice, Buffy and her team is forced to relocate their headquarters over to Tibet, so that they can learn from Oz how they can supress the magical powers of Twilight. Buffy later finds out that Twilight is actually Angel, her former lover. Angel tries to tell Buffy that he used his alter ego in hopes that he can bring peace to the anti-Slayer movement by uniting them with the Slayers. Unfortunately, Twilight starts to take hold of Angel, possessing him to kill Giles for wanting to destroy an ancient seed that is resting beneath Sunnydale. Buffy becomes upset about this and destroys the seed herself, leaving the witches completely powerless, while the slayers and vampires still remain powerful.
