In this episode, Mr. Khan's daughter Shazia announces she is engaged to her boyfriend Amjad, who is also Pakistani Muslim. However, Mr. Khan is not pleased with this news since he had hoped his daughter would marry within their own community.

Mr. Khan tries to convince his daughter to break up with Amjad and find someone more suitable. He even goes as far as to suggest she should have an arranged marriage. Shazia does not take kindly to her father's interference and they have a heated argument.

Meanwhile, Mr. Khan's wife, Mrs. Khan, is busy preparing for an important dinner party they are hosting for their friends and family. She wants everything to be perfect, but things start to go wrong when Mr. Khan forgets to pick up the samosas from the shop.

To make matters worse, Mr. Khan's sister-in-law, Rani, and her husband Tariq arrive unannounced from Pakistan. Rani is known for being very critical of Mr. Khan and his family, and her arrival causes tension in the household.
