This excruciatingly funny, semi-improvised comedy sees actor David Hasselhoff play a fictionalized version of himself as he arrives in the UK to reignite his career. The series follows Hasselhoff 30 years after he rose to fame with Knight Rider and Baywatch. After five divorces and some misguided professional decisions, The Hoff is in the UK to star in a new film that could reboot his career.

Amazingly the film proves to be a huge hit at festivals, thus marking the Hoff's first major European triumph.

  • Eager to start work on his self-penned musical about Lawrence of Arabia, the Hoff strikes a peculiar financing deal with a free-wheeling millionaire.

  • Chaos and intrigue ensue when the Hoff's irresistible manliness inspires fierce jealousy at the wedding of a female fan.

  • Hoff's new manager, Jessica Hynes, promises him Shakespeare but he ends up with celeb cage fighting.

  • The Hoff arrives in the UK to reinvent himself as a serious film actor by starring in an avant-garde biopic of his own life. Hoff feels defeated when the film�۪s director puts someone else at the center of the film. However, when he re-enacts his finest hour, singing on top of a studio set of the Berlin Wall, it reawakens his sense of self-worth.
