In season 6 episode 9 of Comic Book Men, titled "Karate Kustomer," the staff at Kevin Smith's iconic comic book shop, Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash, have their hands full with some interesting customers and unique items.
The episode opens with the guys trying out a new virtual reality experience, which leads to an unexpected karate exhibition from one of their regular customers, Rocco. They are then visited by another customer, Tim, who is in search of a rare Batman comic book and is willing to pay top dollar for it. The guys scour the store and their personal collections to see if they have what Tim is looking for.
Next up is a visit from a local karate dojo, who are looking for donations for their upcoming tournament. The guys decide to hold a charity event at the store and invite customers to come and participate in a karate board breaking competition. In the meantime, Ming surprises the guys with a unique item he found online, a custom-made He-Man sword.
Later in the episode, the guys are visited by a longtime customer who has brought in a rare Japanese Godzilla toy. The guys are impressed and excited by the toy, but struggle to come up with a price that is fair for both the customer and the store.
Throughout the episode, the guys share their typical banter and witty commentary while discussing their love for all things comics and pop culture. "Karate Kustomer" is a fun-filled episode that showcases the unique customers and items that can be found at Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash.
