Cousins for Life is a new family comedy series that premiered on Nickelodeon in 2019. The show revolves around 12-year-old cousins Stuart (Dallas Young) and Ivy (Scarlet Spencer) who are forced to move in together after Stuart's mother decides to move in with her new husband. The first episode of the series, titled "Movin' In," introduces us to the main characters and sets the stage for the rest of the season.

The episode begins with Stuart and his mother, Liz (Mia Allan), packing up their things and getting ready to move in with Liz's new husband, Clark (Ron G.), and his daughter, Ivy. Stuart is hesitant about the move, feeling like he's being forced out of his own home, but Liz tries to reassure him that this is the right thing to do.

When they arrive at Clark's house, Stuart and Ivy are both shocked by how different their new living situation is. Clark is a strict military man who likes things done his way, and Ivy is more of a free spirit who loves to have fun. Stuart is caught somewhere in the middle, trying to adjust to this new way of life.

Throughout the episode, we see the cousins trying to find common ground and adjust to their new living situation. They butt heads at first, with Ivy annoyed by Stuart's strict adherence to rules and Stuart frustrated by Ivy's lack of responsibility. However, they eventually find a way to work together and bond over their shared love of basketball.

The episode also introduces us to some of the other characters in the show, including Stuart's best friend, Leaf (Micah Abbey), and Ivy's friend, Cami (Isabella Acres). Leaf can be a bit of a troublemaker, but he's always there for Stuart when he needs him. Cami is bubbly and outgoing, and she helps Ivy to lighten up and have fun.

One of the stand-out moments of the episode comes when Stuart and Ivy try to sneak out to play basketball at a nearby court. They get caught by Clark, who is not happy that they broke his rules. However, instead of punishing them, he surprises them by showing up at the court and showing off his own basketball skills. This moment helps to bridge the gap between Stuart and Clark and sets the stage for their relationship to grow throughout the season.

Overall, the first episode of Cousins for Life is a fun and heartwarming introduction to a new family comedy series. It sets up the premise of the show and introduces us to the main characters and their relationships. The actors all do a great job of bringing their characters to life, and there are plenty of laughs and touching moments throughout the episode. Fans of family comedies will definitely want to check out this one.
