In the sixth season, the iconic crime drama show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation presented the episode titled Dog Eat Dog.

The episode follows the CSI team as they investigate the murder of a man in a luxurious hotel room in Las Vegas. The victim, Robert Park, was a wealthy entrepreneur who visited Las Vegas with his wife and their prized dog.

As the investigation moves forward, the CSI team discovers that Park's dog, a purebred Chinese Crested named Ruffles, is missing. They soon realize that Ruffles is not just any dog but is worth millions of dollars in the dog breeding business. So, the race is on not only to solve the murder but also to find the missing dog before it’s too late.

As the CSI team delves into the case, they discover that Park's business partner Harold Metcalf and his wife had a motive to kill him. The detectives find out that they were planning to take over the business and wanted Park out of the picture. However, the case soon takes a dark turn when they discover that the Metcalf's had a more profound interest in Park's dog than they initially thought.

Later, the team discovers that a famous dog breeder named Blake Angelotti also had a motive to steal Ruffles and kill Park. Angelotti was part of an animal smuggling ring that dealt with rare and expensive breeds, and desired Ruffles for this purpose. The team discovers that Angelotti had sent one of his men to steal the dog from Park's hotel room. The team tracks down Angelotti and his accomplice and finds out that they had a network of illegal pet dealers all over the country from where they were sending the dogs.

As the investigation progresses, the CSI team discovers that Park had several enemies due to his shady business deals. Believing that his wife was having an affair with his business partner, Park had also hired a private detective to investigate them. The team, however, discovers that Park's wife was not having an affair with anyone, but her behavior was unusual because she was always worried about Ruffles and his disappearance.
