Ep 1. Foisted!

In the season 9 premiere of Curb Your Enthusiasm, titled "Foisted!," we are reintroduced to the infamous Larry David. In this episode, he finds himself in a typically awkward situation - he's forced to fire one of his on-set assistants after she gets too personal with him.

Meanwhile, Larry's assistant Suzy Essman is back as well, and she is facing her own challenges, including an uncomfortable incident with a male makeup artist. Larry's former assistant, Cheryl Hines, also makes an appearance, and her reunion with Larry is predictably contentious.

The episode also introduces us to a new character, Bridget (played by Lauren Graham). Bridget is a successful television writer who happens to be married to Larry's friend, a dermatologist named Dr. Berg. Larry is eager to impress Bridget, but things quickly start to go wrong when he begins to accidentally insult her.

Throughout the episode, Larry's typical neurotic tendencies are on full display. From his fear of being seen as a "phony" to his awkward attempts at flirting, he can't seem to catch a break. Each new attempt to smooth things over only seems to make them worse.

Overall, "Foisted!" sets the tone for the rest of the season, promising plenty of cringe-worthy moments and uncomfortable confrontations. For fans of the show, it's a welcome return to the world of Larry David, and a reminder of why we love to hate him so much.
