Ep 3. The Broadway Brat

GiaNina also gets a solo called "Fancy" from the musical The New Yorkers. Her mom, Joanne, is determined to make sure GiaNina nails the performance and pushes her hard during rehearsals. GiaNina feels the pressure but is determined to prove herself.

In addition to the group dance, Lilly's solo, and GiaNina's solo, the ALDC also performs a trio called "Passepied," with Savannah, Brady, and Hannah. The moms are concerned that Abby is favoring the trio and not giving the other girls as much attention, but Abby insists that everyone needs to work hard to stay relevant in the competitive dance world.

As the competition approaches, tensions rise between the moms as they worry about their daughters' performances. Stacey and Joanne get into a heated argument over their daughters' solos, while the other moms try to keep the peace.

At the competition, the ALDC faces off against tough competition, including the Candy Apples and the Broadway Dance Academy. The girls perform well, but there are some hiccups along the way. Abby must make a tough decision about which soloist to put in the top spot, and the moms anxiously await the results.

In the end, the ALDC wins several awards, including first place for the group dance and GiaNina's solo. However, there is still room for improvement and Abby reminds the girls that they need to keep pushing themselves in order to stay on top. The episode ends with the team heading back to Pittsburgh, ready to take on their next challenge.
