They soon discover that Greenback has created a special fuel to power the machine, but it is highly unstable and could cause an explosion. Danger Mouse sets out to destroy the fuel while Penfold tries to deactivate the machine's compressing mechanism.

As they work to sabotage the Baron's plan, Danger Mouse and Penfold must evade detection by Greenback's minions, which proves to be quite difficult. They are eventually caught by Stiletto, who puts them in a room with a bomb that is set to go off in five minutes. While they try to find a way out, they hear the Baron gloating about his impending victory. Danger Mouse manages to defuse the bomb just in time and frees himself and Penfold to confront the Baron.

In the final showdown, Danger Mouse and Penfold must use all their wits to thwart the Baron's plan and prevent the machine from compressing the biggest threat to the world – the world's oceans!
