In Delocated season 2 episode 7, titled "Kim's Krafts," the comedic hijinks continue as our favorite amateur reality TV star, "Jon," continues to navigate his bizarre double life. Things start off on a seemingly innocent note as "Jon" decides to host a craft fair in his home. However, as with most things in his life, chaos quickly ensues.
First off, his wife Susan is not at all thrilled with the idea of having strangers traipsing through their home all day. To make matters worse, "Jon" has not informed her of the fact that he has invited his closest "friend," David, to attend the fair and sell his own homemade crafts. This does not sit well with Susan, as she has a long-standing rivalry with David and does not appreciate his presence in their home.
Meanwhile, "Jon" is also dealing with the fallout from his new relationship with TB, the Russian mafia boss's daughter who he had been previously protecting while in witness protection. TB is starting to exhibit some rather erratic behavior, and "Jon" is understandably nervous about how this might play out.
As the craft fair gets underway, it becomes apparent that it is not going to be the laid-back, folksy event that "Jon" had envisioned. From a creepy stalker who becomes obsessed with one of the vendors, to a group of protesters who take issue with one of the crafts being sold (which happens to have the word "anus" on it), things quickly go off the rails.
To top it all off, David decides to engage in a bit of sabotage by selling a subpar version of one of Susan's own crafts, leading to a heated confrontation between the two of them. Throughout all of this, "Jon" is trying to keep a handle on everything while also keeping his true identity a secret from all those around him.
The episode ends on a typically insane note, with "Jon" inadvertently setting off one of the crafts and causing a small fire to break out in his home. The resulting chaos leads to some unexpected resolutions to some of the episode's earlier conflicts, but also sets the stage for even more insanity to come in future episodes.
Overall, "Kim's Krafts" is a classic episode of Delocated, filled with the show's signature brand of absurd humor and over-the-top situations. While it may not be the most plot-heavy episode of the season, it certainly delivers in terms of laughs and solidifies the show's reputation as one of the most offbeat and unique comedies around.
