However, he struggles to find the courage to ask her out and instead invites her to come along on a metal detecting trip, which doesn't exactly scream "romance." Toni's presence on the trip ends up causing tension between Lance and Andy, as Andy feels that she is getting in the way and slowing them down.

Overall, this episode continues to showcase the delightful blend of humor and heart that makes Detectorists such a beloved show.
