Dharma & Greg season 3 episode 11, titled "Lawyers, Beer and Money," follows the lives of Dharma and Greg, a free-spirited couple who come from two very different worlds. Dharma is a yogi who grew up in a hippie commune, while Greg is a buttoned-up lawyer from a wealthy family.
In this episode, the couple is faced with a financial crisis. Greg's law firm is struggling, and he is unsure of what the future holds. Meanwhile, Dharma's art gallery is not bringing in enough money to sustain itself. To make matters worse, Dharma's parents, who still live in the commune, are in the same financial boat.
Greg decides to take action by trying to land a new client who could potentially save his firm. However, things become complicated when he and the client, who happens to be a brewer, start bonding over their shared love of beer. Greg is torn between his loyalty to his law firm and his newfound friendship.
Meanwhile, Dharma and her parents come up with a plan to sell their homemade kombucha at a farmer's market. They hope that this will help them make enough money to keep the commune afloat. Dharma's mother, Abby, tries to start a revolution with her kombucha, hoping to bring about social change. However, things don't go as planned when they run into some stiff competition at the farmer's market.
As the episode progresses, Greg's friendship with the brewer leads him down a dangerous path. He starts drinking heavily, which causes tension between him and Dharma. Dharma is worried about Greg, and wants him to quit drinking and focus on saving his law firm. However, Greg is convinced that his new friendship will lead him to success.
In the end, both Dharma and Greg learn important lessons about money and friendship. They come to realize that money isn't everything, and that they are better off staying true to their values and following their hearts. The episode ends on a positive note, with Dharma and Greg coming up with a new plan to save their businesses and help their friends and family.
