In addition to these characters there is Inadho who claims she is Tankeru's finance. There is also Kodama who wants to kill Takeru. He finds out that he is unpopular with most girls and they do not care for him. He also learns he has the ability to become powerful when he combines magic with the weapon Maken.
Tankeru comes from a hard background. He blames his father for the death of his mother. He has a special power where that allows him to drain the soul of people by using his mouth. Tankeru is not the only one who is able to use special powers and abilities. Haruko is his roommate and she has deep feelings for him. She is also considered to be one of the strongest females in the land. She is easily angered by any attentions females pay to Tankeru and is often trying to make herself look better to get his attention. Her special ability is being able to turn elements around her into blades. Once her anger comes out she is not longer able to control her special power.
The other characters in the show also have their own abilities. Kodama must stay around the tenbi because she needs the elements to live. Indaho has great strength and speed when she angers. She is also trying to get Tankeru's attention. When these characters use their powers whoever in their way better be careful and take cover.
