Dream Eater Merry Season 1 Episode 3 From Beyond the Dream

Dream Eater Merry is a fantasy anime centered around a high school student named Yumeji Fujiwara, who has the ability to see people's dreams. He encounters a dream demon named Merry Nightmare, who is stuck in the realm of dreams and is trying to find her way back to the real world. Yumeji and Merry agree to help her find her brother and also defeat the Nightmares.

As they continue their search, they come across a man who seems to be controlling the Nightmares. The man introduces himself as Mystletainn and reveals that he is a Dream Demon just like Merry. However, he has turned to the dark side and now supports the Nightmares, who he believes are the rightful rulers of the dream realm. Mystletainn challenges Merry to a fight and she accepts.

The fight between Merry and Mystletainn is intense and evenly matched. Yumeji and Isana's brother, Kakeru, who they finally find, watch from the sidelines. Kakeru reveals that he and his sister were caught in a dream trap and Mystletainn was the one behind it. However, he also reveals that Mystletainn used to be a good Dream Demon who worked with their father and was like a brother to them.

Merry manages to defeat Mystletainn, but she is left emotionally shaken. The episode ends with Yumeji comforting Merry, telling her that he will always be there for her. The trio bids farewell to Isana and Kakeru, both grateful for their help. As they walk away, Yumeji says that he has a feeling they will encounter Mystletainn again.

"From Beyond The Dream" is an exciting episode that adds more depth to the Dream Demon lore in the show. The fight between Merry and Mystletainn is one of the highlights of the episode, but the emotional aftermath shows that the characters are more than just fighters. The addition of Isana and Kakeru also adds a human touch to the show, making the viewer invested in the Nightmare cases. Overall, the episode does a great job of moving the plot forward while also fleshing out the world and the characters.
